Full moon hike
March’s Full Moon is traditionally called the Full Worm Moon by the Native Americans who used the Moon’s phases to track the seasons. At the time of this Moon, the ground begins to soften enough for earthworm casts to reappear, inviting the return of robins and migrating birds.
Meet at 32nd St/Lincoln Trail head. This trail head is on the north side of Lincoln. Parking is very limited so you may have to park in the lot on the SW corner.
The trail is less than 2 miles with a gradual incline. It provides a perfect viewing spot for the full moon. Bring a headlamp, hiking poles and a jacket.
After the hike, we'll head down 32nds St to The Gelato Spot/Hava Java and enjoy an after hike treat.
