Okay, so it's actually Yoga, but Stretching With Stacie just sounds so good!
Simple movement, deep breathing and learning to "Calm the Crazy" is what these classes are made of.
These all-level classes will have a monthly theme and incorporate mindfulness and intention.
The session links breath with a sequence of standing and seated postures on a mat. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases endurance, and will build strength, balance, flexibility and mindfulness. These classes are for everyBODY. Each session begins and ends with breathing and relaxation techniques.
Let's get back to the basics and (re)awaken the love and light that lives in you!
We will be working with Stacie to make these classes a regular occurrence and possibly focussing on a different theme each session.
I'd like to make each Stretching with Stacie session a chance to give back to our community. While the class is free I'd like to ask, for those who can, to consider bringing donations for a different non-profit in our community each session.
For this month's donations I'd like us to support Texas' South Texas Veterans Health Care System Fisher House on Wurzbach Rd. Instead of donating directly to the house I'm asking for donations of H.E.B. or Wal-Mart gift cards (or cash is fine and I'll go purchases the cards) These cards allow the manager of the house to give the families some freedom and independence for their grocery shopping and purchasing other needed items for their families (playpens, diapers, clothing, etc.)
If you're not familiar with Fisher Houses. Check it out. South Texas Veteran's Health Care System Fisher House.

Thank you ladies in advance for your support of our community, and in this case our Veterans and their families.
