iPhone Photo Workshop & Hike with Amy from Maker Mama Media

Since our phones seem to always be the one thing we have with us on a hike I thought I’d reach out to Amy, who I took a similar class with last summer. My class was indoors but I thought having it while hiking would be fun. We’ll learn some techniques to utilize our phones more effectively for photos, take in a new park (for me anyway), and hopefully get some great sunset pictures to work our new skills on.

Meet Amy:

my began her online career ten years ago when she founded what eventually became Maker Mama Media. As a self-taught photographer and iPhonographer, she’s been able to:

  • Create an engaged organic audience of over 15K followers on her social channels

  • Regularly attract clients and book out her social media services, bringing in a consistent income each month

  • Have her work featured in Apartment Therapy, MAKE, Buzzfeed DIY, CRAFT, BlogHer, PBS Crafts for Kids, and Mother Earth Living

  • Partner with numerous brands including Martha Stewart Crafts, Athleta, HP, KIA, Nintendo, Lego, and Goodwill

Amy’s shared her phone photography tips with over 10,000 people both online and in live local workshops over the last three years. She wholeheartedly believes that with the right know-how and tools, you can take great photos, too.

In prepration for the class you can checkout Amy’s phone photography app guide on her webisite:
